Work
I am a sales engineer at Akuity. This is a brand new job and a brand new role. I was a platform/infra/productivity engineer for about seven years before this new job.
Jiujitsu
I train and compete in Brazilian Jiujitsu. I am a hobbyist but take it seriously. I try to approach training like an athlete.

The 2025 - 2026 season just ended. I took bronze at the World Master tournament, a disappointing end to an otherwise good season.
The next couple of months, I will focus on moving down to rooster (127 lbs) and refining my game - both to improve overall and to adjust for the smaller opponents. Moving down was always the plan after Worlds, regardless of results. My professor and I think this is the right long-term move.
